When I started playing No Man's Sky many years ago I got tired of bouncing from System to System not knowing where was what after leaving or taking a break from the game. Where were those Storm Crystals or that cool Exotic Planet? I don't remember and I'm not great at names so I left the Planets game generated titles for upload.

After awhile I found a Frozen wasteland of a Planet that had giant butterflies on it. I saw I could feed it, I didn't know you could tame creatures. It became my first friend and not knowing it could communicate with me I was so surprised when it introduced itself as "Itazi - Itazi". My beautiful companion made me so happy and not wanting to lose their home Planet I decided to make a Codex.

I made a quick one scratched into a tiny composition notebook that served me well. As the book got aged and worn I wanted something more sturdy and better looking. I made my DNX Codex Binder and ended up posting it to Reddit. Thousands of people loved it and to my surprise wanted to use it.

I started work on it and Niki Baguetta volunteered to help me make a PDF version. I agreed and we started working together. I hope to continue this PDF Codex for future Travelers, through all the games content and future updates. Thank you all so much for your support!
